Pre-launch
Dual Spears: what is confirmed before launch
Dual Spears is a new native spear path scheduled for late November 2026. The mechanics are documented; the Inner Way build is not, and the reason is a design choice rather than missing information.

It is late November. The new spear path is live, you want a build, and you search for it. What you get is a wall of guides built on the old double-spear setup — a completely different thing that happens to share a nickname.
You copy one. You swap in the recommended Inner Ways. Nothing lines up. Your damage looks wrong, your resource flow looks wrong, and you start to suspect you are playing badly.
You are not. You are playing a different spec than the guide, and the guide never told you it was talking about the other one. This page documents only the native Dual Spears (双枪) path.
What is the Dual Spears weapon frame?
One martial art with two weapons inside it: 游龙枪, the physical melee spear, and 傲血枪, a red-patterned incorporeal spear built for mid-to-long-range pressure. The defining property is the swap — a no-lag real/void handoff (虚实无缝衔接) with no weapon-swap backswing. The swap skill is Dual-Weapon Skill (武变).
That swap is the entire identity of the spec. You are not juggling two weapons with a recovery animation between them; you are switching between two ranges with no penalty. Coming from any other weapon pair, this is the mechanic that will feel foreign first: the swap is not a reset, it is a continuation.
Which moves are confirmed?
| Chinese | Working gloss | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| 龙游四海 | Dragon Roams the Four Seas | Gap closer / dash in |
| 龙战于野 | Dragon Wars in the Wilds | Flurry, multi-hit pressure |
| 千疮百孔 | Thousand Wounds | Stack-and-burst payoff |
| 定风波 | Calm the Storm | Slow / control |
| 扫六合 | Sweep the Six Directions | Lowers magic defense |
All five English labels are descriptive glosses, not official names. There is no confirmed English move list, so treat these as orientation rather than vocabulary to quote.
Why does this spec not need six-tier Inner Ways?
Dual Spears belongs to the Mingjin (鸣金) system and runs a pure Insight flow (纯会意流) — built around 会意 (Insight) rather than 会心 (Crit). The design intent is explicitly not to compete with 惊雷枪, the existing crit-flow spear.
That is why community consensus says the spec does not eat high-tier Inner Ways: it is deliberately designed to function without the expensive investment the crit spear needs. Good news if you are a new spear player — it is cheaper to run. A warning if you wanted a second crit spear — it is not one, and stacking crit fights the design.

Why is the Inner Way section empty?
This is the question this page gets most, so it gets a direct answer: native Dual Spears has zero build output — not because nobody looked, but because of design convergence. Attributes, Inner Ways and sets are designed to be saturated by a single configuration; the space for alternatives is narrow, and there is no second list worth copying. A speculative four-slot build here would read well and play wrong.
So the section stays empty on purpose, marked design-convergence and "build pending Chinese community output." When a single-set confirmed guide exists, this page gets that list. Until then, an empty slot is the accurate answer. The Inner Ways database tracks the names that will fill it.
What is the legacy hybrid, and why is it excluded?
The legacy hybrid "double spear" is built around 惊雷枪 + 无名枪法 (Nameless Spear), with Inner Ways such as Morale Chant (易水歌) and 移经易武. It is a separate build and is strictly excluded from the native Dual Spears pool.
It is not a variant and not an older version of the same thing. It is a crit spear paired with a starter spear, and any guide presenting it as "the Dual Spears build" is mixing two unrelated specs into one page. If a guide cannot tell you which of the two it describes, close it.
Pro tips
- Do not spend Inner Way materials before the first single-set guide lands. The design converges on one configuration; buying into a speculative setup is the fastest way to waste a season.
- Learn the swap before the moveset. If you treat the swap like a weapon-dodge, you lose the whole point of the spec.
- Build Insight, not crit. The spec exists to sit beside the crit spear, not compete with it.
- Use 傲血枪's range deliberately. The incorporeal spear is the mid/long-range answer most melee builds lack.
- Re-check this page after launch week. The moment a confirmed single-set build exists, the empty section stops being correct.
Frequently asked questions
Is Dual Spears the same as the old double-spear build?
No, and this is the most common mistake around the spec. The old build pairs 惊雷枪 with 无名枪法 and runs crit-flow Inner Ways. Native Dual Spears pairs 游龙枪 with 傲血枪, uses the no-lag swap, and runs Insight. They share a nickname and nothing else.
Why does this page have no Inner Way build?
Because no confirmed one exists. The design narrows the Inner Way space to a single saturated configuration, so there is nothing to compare yet. An honest gap beats a confident guess.
Do I need six-tier Inner Ways to play it?
Community consensus says no — that is part of the design. The spec runs on Insight and avoids the high-tier dependency of the existing crit spear, which makes it a relatively cheap entry point for a new spear character.
