Inner Ways list: names, effects and which builds use them
Inner Ways are the passive layer under a build: four slots that decide whether your rotation has sustain, burst or neither. The English naming here is the messiest part of the game, so every entry keeps its Chinese original.

What is an Inner Way?
An Inner Way (心法) is a passive you equip in one of four slots. It is not a skill: it modifies what your martial art already does — damage, crit interaction, healing on Execute, bleed stacking, buff duration. Builds are usually decided by which four Inner Ways fit the weapon, not the other way around.
Ranks matter. Several builds are written around a specific Inner Way reaching Tier 6, because the rank changes the interaction rather than just the percentage. The Gauntlets build, for example, prioritizes Soaring High to Tier 6 before anything else.

Why do two Inner Ways share the name Fivefold Bleed?
Same name, two Inner Ways. Fivefold Bleed is the English name used for both 断石之构 (bleed stacking) and 极乐泣血. They are different passives. Whenever you see "Fivefold Bleed" in a build without the Chinese original, you cannot tell which one is meant — and the two have different effects.
This is the single most common source of bad advice in English-language build content. The fix is mechanical: always write the Chinese original next to the English name. This site does that everywhere, and the glossary keeps both rows.
Which Inner Way heals me?
Vital Leech (归燕经, also called Return Swallow) heals on Execute. Because the combat loop already ends in an Execute, this turns your finisher into your sustain plan — you heal by doing the thing you were going to do anyway. A build with no sustain and a habit of dying in long fights usually wants this slot, not more defense.

Which names are still unresolved?
Two Inner Ways have no confirmed English name, and this site keeps the Chinese instead of inventing a translation:
- 三穷致知 — bought from the Mohist Hill sect shop. Appears in the standard Gauntlets set.
- 明晖同尘 — a Jun-style gauntlet variant.
If an official name appears, both this page and the glossary change together. Until then, a guide that confidently translates either one is guessing.
How many Inner Ways are there?
28 entries in the current termbase, including the two unresolved names and both Fivefold Bleed variants. That count will drift as new patches add passives, which is why this page carries an update date rather than a permanent number.
